Genus Tmarus Simon, 1875
Species of Tmarus can be distinguished from other Thomisidae by the presence of a dorsoposterior tubercle or hump, particularly in females (Fig. 34), as well as an elevated ocular area with well-developed lateral eyes (ALE> PLE). The palp can be identified by its stout or elongated embolus. The epigynum is characterized by either a broad hood or a vertical ridge (Ileperuma Arachchi & Benjamin 2019).
