Records from Iran: Guilan Province – Pešić et al. (2007); Kermanshah Province – Pešić et al. (2008); Kerman Province – Asadi et al. (2009), Asadi (2010).

Habitat: Rhitrobiont; lower, middle- and high-order streams, as well as rheocrenes.

Distribution: Palaearctic.
