Records from Iran: Kerman Province – “ Axonopsis iranica ” Asadi et al. (2010), Pešić and Asadi (2010) ; Hormozgan Province – Pešić et al. (2012), Sistan va Baluchestan Province – Pešić et al. (2012).

Habitat: Lentic part of a sandy/bouldery stream, lenitophilous.

Distribution: Southern Iran.
