Pella reuteri ASSING, 2008

(Figs 46–47)

Material examined: Iraq: 1 ♂, Amedi env., 1200 m, V.2007, leg. Reuter (cFel) .

Comment: The original description of this species is based on two females from northern Iraq (ASSING 2008b). The male sexual characters were previously unknown. Based on the above male, they are as follows: posterior margin of tergite VIII weakly concave in the middle; posterior margin of sternite VIII broadly convex; median lobe of aedeagus 0.72 mm long and shaped as in Figs 46–47.

The male sexual characters are highly similar to those of P. ruficollis (GRIMM, 1845), except for the slightly longer ventral process of the aedaegus.
