Distribution: Middle East, tropical Asia, Korea, Japan, China to Australia, Pacific Isles. Introduced to USA, Mexico.

Comment: Following Zamani et al. (2022b) and considering the pattern of the carapace in the specimen reported by Najim & Al-Hadlag (2022), this record is herein attributed to D. striatipes .
