Distribution: Native probably to Africa, Mediterranean, Israel. Introduced to USA, Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Saint Helena, China, Japan, New Caledonia.

Comment: Judging by the photos provided by Al-Yacoub & Najim (2022), this record most likely represents an undescribed species. Omitted herein.
