Holotype: M (MNHN) number 445. TANZANIA, southern slope of Mount Hanang, elevation 2500 m, in high coppice with Protea, 26.MAY.1957, coll. Mission Basilevski-Leleup.

Distribution: Katesh (Tanzania).

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the country of collection.
