Material examined. PAKISTAN, [Baluchistan,] Quetta, v. 1903 (BMNH).

Remarks. This species was also recorded from “ Pakistan, 80km NW of Quetta, Kodschak-Pass [= Khojuk Pass], 2100m, v. 1965 ” by Daniel (1971); the specimen is in the Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria. Hyles centralasiae is found from northeastern Iran, southern Turkmenistan, eastern Uzbekistan, southern Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to northern Xinjiang Province, China, then southwest though eastern Afghanistan to southwestern Pakistan (Pittaway, 2013).
