Ronkay (SMCR); Hindukush Mts., 5 km E of Shandur pass, 36°07‘ N 72°38‘ E, 3250 m, 24.–25. vi. 2000, Z. Varga & G. Ronkay (SMCR).

Remarks. Rethera komarovi subsp. stipularis was originally described from “Chaman, south Afghanistan ”, a locality that is now in Baluchistan, Pakistan. The distribution of this subspecies also includes Tajikistan and southeast Uzbekistan.
