Remark. In order to stabilize the nomenclature, we hereby designate the dissected male syntype housed in the OUMNH collection as lectotype.
Distribution. Nepal (Kishida 1993, 1994, as Eilema distorta, part) and Northeastern India (Sikkim and Meghalaya) (Moore 1872; Joshi et al. 2015, as Z. neodistorta), Thailand, Vietnam (Černý & Pinratana 2009).
