Material examined. 1 spec, TAU P- 13066, Israel, Off Haifa Bay, 032°55.7'N, 034°20'E, 1480 m, coll. Galil, 21 October 2004.

Distribution. Mediterranean, Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans. Commonly found down to depths of 600 m (Froese & Pauly, 2014). This is a depth record for this species.
