Allotype (♀, HNHM, Figs. 84–86), labeled: “Nicobar Oerne // Allotype Eophileurus nicobarensis Endrődi ”, examined through photographs provided by the late Ottó Merkl .

Distribution. India: Nicobar Is.

Remarks. Hitherto, this species is only known from Nicobar Island. Photographs of the type material are illustrated here for the first time (Figs. 79–85).
