Diagnosis. Episternal sulcus not passing through scrobe; claw usually simple but if with a single basal tooth on inner margin, then mouthparts very long; gena attaining base of stipe when folded; apex of metasomal sternum I (petiole) meeting and often overlapping base of sternum II; spiracle of tergum I located before apex of sternum I (in lateral view) (Bohart and Menke 1976).
