Diagnostic features: Uncus with bifid and bilobed processes as in S. nigropuncta, but the bilobed process is relatively much broader. The valve apex is narrow, slightly spatulate, the valve broadening basally to this, with a small angle ventrally and a much broader, more basal one on the costa.
