General distribution. From Morocco to most of Europe, eastward to western and central Siberia (Jansson 1986, 1995; Kanyukova et al. 2002, 2021; Grandova 2013; Boda et al. 2015; Shapovalov et al. 2018b). In Romania, this species is known only from the northwestern part of the country (Fig. 27).

Remarks. This species was reported from only two localities i.e., Sucutard, Cluj County (Soós 1959) and Sălsig, MaramureȘ County (Kecskés 1999). The record by Prunescu-Arion & Elian (1962) listed in Paina (1975) refers to Corixa geoffroyi (= C. punctata).
