Diagnosis: A large Petrobrasia species with very fine, often barely visible ridges or striations parallel to the lengthways margins.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5387.

Paratype: 1 carapace SMF Xe 5388 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.90mm, height 0.47mm, width 0.34mm.
