Diagnosis: A species of Tucanocypris n. g. with marked coarse sculpture: on each valve two roundish swellings, sometimes in antero-median, sometimes in postero-median position.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5354.

Paratypes: Left valve, SMF Xe 5355; right valve, SMF Xe 5356; 3 carapaces, SMF Xe 5357 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.94mm, height 0.50mm.
