Diagnosis: A small Cypridea species (carapace length approximately 0.6mm), with the following peculiarities: right valve larger than left valve. Coarse sculpture: two nodes on each valve: the anterior one in the position of an “eye node”, the posterior node in approximately postero-median position. The anterior node mostly rather more weakly developed than the posterior node. The line joining both nodes is inclined more steeply towards the posterior than the dorsal margin. Rostrum strongly bent back, rostral groove very small. Fine sculpture: fairly coarse, irregularly arranged pore dimples on the entire carapace surface.
Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5344.
Paratypes: 4 carapaces, SMF Xe 5345 .
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.63mm, height 0.39mm.
