Diagnosis: A middle-sized species of Reconcavona with the following peculiarities: a pointed postero-ventral spine on each valve, directed downwards and towards the posterior.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4803.

Paratypes: 2 carapaces under SMF Xe 4804 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.75mm, height 0.44mm, width 0.32mm.
