1962 Cypridea ambigua n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 456–457, pl. 57, fig. 28.

Diagnosis: A small Cypridea species from the vulgaris group; more extended and slimmer than C. vulgaris n. sp. Anterior cardinal angle less emphasized, the straight part of the dorsal margin falling away towards the posterior less steeply than in C. vulgaris n. sp., otherwise broadly similar to the latter.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4189.

Paratypes: 4 carapaces under SMF Xe 4190 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.76mm, height 0.46mm.
