Cypridea lunula Krömmelbein, 1962

Diagnosis: A fairly small “inverse” Cypridea species. “Sulcus” weakly formed, beginning dorsally directly behind the position of the maximum carapace height, bowed in a half-moon shape (the bow open towards the posterior), running towards the valve centre. The rostrum is small, rounded, and bent back; rostral groove scarcely developed with broad, indistinctly bordered, often only quite weakly developed rostral sulcus.
Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4167.
Paratypes: 4 carapaces under SMF Xe 4168 .
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.69mm, height 0.47mm.
