Known distribution. Platte, near Graz, Austria, a single specimen in moss in a forest meadow (Reisinger 1924a); wells and mountain streams, Hessen, Germany (Schwank 1981)

Material. None

Remarks. According to Reisinger (1924a) and Schwank (1981), specimens of this taxon are 0.5–0.8 mm long.

The protonephridiopores open ventrally, somewhat rostrally from the mid point of the body. The length of the copulatory organ varies from 25 to 50 µm and it is provided with a cylindrical pouch (12 µm long and 6 µm wide). Its cirrus is relatively long, with a proximal part showing several S-shaped loops and a distal part bearing strong, sclerotized spines, which are directed towards the atrium. Only very little prostate secretion is present. A bursa and a seminal receptacle are lacking.
