Tapajosa doeringi (Berg 1879)
Diagnosis. Crown, pronotum, scutellum and clypeus black, with irregular yellow spots; forewings with yellow veins and cells rufous and black; hindwing with vein R2+3 complete. Male: aedeagus short and broad, curved upwards, with pair of basal processes that may be branched.
Female terminalia. Abdominal sternite VII, in ventral view (Fig. 17), with lateral margins slightly concave, lateroposterior margins narrowly rounded, and posterior margin with elongated shallow median concavity; surface with numerous scattered microsetae. Pygofer, in lateral view, moderately produced posteriorly; surface with scattered microsetae, and a few macrosetae on posterior region. First valvifers, in lateral view, ovoid; with small spiniform processes on posterior region and setae on posterior margin. First ovipositor valvulae, in lateral view, slightly rectilinear; dorsal sculptured area formed by scale-like processes arranged in oblique lines; ventral sculptured area formed by scale-like processes arranged irregularly; apex acute (Fig. 37), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins. Second valvulae, in lateral view, slightly rectilinear; dorsal margin of blade bearing 25 to 26 continuous teeth, each tooth subtriangular with posterior side longer, with denticles on anterior and posterior margins (Fig. 57); ducts extending toward teeth and toward apical blade portion; apex rounded (Fig. 77), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins; preapical ventral prominence conspicuous. Gonoplacs, in lateral view, with small spiniform processes on ventral margin; apex rounded.
