Molomea consolida Schröder 1959

Diagnosis. Dorsal coloration dark, pink clypeus, thoraxic and abdominal pleurae yellowish. Male: subgenital plates reach one-third of the length of pygofer; aedeagus with pair of apical processes, and pair of atrial processes as long as the aedeagal shaft.

Female terminalia. Abdominal sternite VII, in ventral view (Fig. 10), with lateral margins parallel, lateroposterior margins rounded, and posterior margin sinuous with median small projection; surface with scattered microsetae. Pygofer, in lateral view, slightly produced posteriorly; surface with scattered microsetae and a few macrosetae on posteroventral margin. First valvifers, in lateral view, longer than tall; with small spiniform processes on ventral region, and fine setae on posterior margin. First ovipositor valvulae, in lateral view, rectilinear beyond basal curvature and then narrowing gradually toward apex; dorsal and ventral sculptured areas formed by scale-like processes arranged in oblique lines; apex acute (Fig. 30), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins. Second valvulae, in lateral view, rectilinear or slightly broadened beyond basal curvature and then narrowing gradually toward apex; dorsal margin of blade bearing 32 to 35 noncontiguous teeth, each tooth subrectangular, with denticles on anterior and dorsal margins (Fig. 50); ducts extending toward teeth and toward apical blade portion; apex rounded (Fig. 70), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins; preapical ventral prominence conspicuous. Gonoplacs, in lateral view, with small spiniform processes on ventral margin; apex rounded.
