Smetana, 2001: 181 (Type locality: Sichuan: Gongga Shan massive, Hailuogou valley, lake above Camp 2, 29°35’N, 102°00’E, 2750 m) ; Smetana, 2004: 673 (Catalog of Palaearctic Region); Smetana, 2005a: 304 (new records in Ebian Yizu Zizixian); Smetana, 2005b: 573 (new records in Daliang Shan); Schülke & Smetana, 2015: 1085 (Catalog of Palaearctic Region).

Distribution. Miobdelus gracilis is at present known from Sichuan Province.
