Oxypoda (Bessopora) lesbia Assing, 2005

Wunderle (cWun); Aydın: 4 exs., ca. 110 km S Izmir, WSW Söke, Dilek Daġı, 37°39’N, 27°08’E, 950 m, N-slope, litter of Pinus and Quercus, sifted grass roots, 25.XII.2005, leg. Assing (cAss); Denizli: 1 ex., ca. 35 km SE Kale, above Alpa, 37°12’N, 29°05’E, 1340 m, N-slope with old cedar, grass roots and cedar litter sifted, 13.IV.2006, leg. Assing (cAss).

Comment. Oxypoda lesbia was originally described from the Greek island Lesbos and later recorded from three additional localities in the Greek mainland; its previously known distribution is mapped in Assing (2006c). The species is here reported from Turkey for the first time.
