Remarks. The previously undetected association of the sexes was clearly indicated by the newly collected material. The vestiture of the females is not so long or dense as in the males, correspondence in many characters of morphology and sculpture are therefore not easily discernible. The face of the female is characteristically trapezoid in shape (Fig. 21); the malae in frontal view appear angular; the clypeus protruding, with clearly depressed tentorial pits and longitudinally striped sculpture. Otherwise, the characters described by Dathe (1986: 277, 279) are confirmed. Both names were published at the same time; due to the better definition of the male (Fig. 20), it is selected as the naming.
