Morphological remarks. In South American specimens mesosoma is completely black (Fig. 24); hind leg (except trochanters) strongly darkened with brown (Fig. 27); head with eye orbits distinctly convergent ventrally (Fig. 25); temple, in dorsal view, 0.4× as long as eye width; clypeus small, 2.3× as broad as long (Fig. 25); flagellum with 25 flagellomeres; basal part of propodeum 0.7× as long as apical area (Fig. 26); second tergite 1.9× as long as anteriorly broad; and ovipositor sheath 3.2× as long as first tergite (Fig. 28).
