Comments. Based on the original description, this species belongs to the Diolcogaster basimacula species-group. Although it might be inferred that this was one of the species transferred ‘in bulk to Diolcogaster ’ by Mason (1981: 115), for the sake of clarity I formally propose the new combination here.
