Material examined. Indonesia: Borneo: Paratype: 1♁, Kalimantan Tengah, Busang / Rekut confl. 0°03′S 113°59′E Flight Intercept FIT 2, Brendell / Mendel, VIII 2001, ‘Barito Ulu 2001′ BMNH (E) 2001-191 (BMNH).
Measurements. Male: BL: 13.0 mm, FL: 5.3 mm. HL: 1.30 mm, HW: 1.64 mm, EYL: 0.55 mm, TL: 0.48 mm, PL: 1.66 mm, PW: 1.64 mm, EL: 2.30 mm, EW: 2.26 mm. HW/HL: 1.26, TL/EYL: 0.87, PL/PW: 1.01, EL/EW: 1.02.
Distribution. The species is endemic to the island of Borneo and is specifically known from Danum Valley in Malaysia, north-west Brunei, and Central Kalimantan in Indonesia.
Diagnosis. The species can be easily recognized among others of this group by the body coloration, by golden pubescent patches present on abdominal tergites VII and VIII and tarsomere 5 without clear apical projection.
