Chromosome set is 2n = 8. Chromosome AE is submetacentric, chromosomes CD, BF are metacentric, chromosome G is telocentric. Chromosome G has two BRs and one NOR, the last one is near to the centromere region of the chromosome (Fig. 15). The “basic” sequences of arm A are in an inverted state in comparison of the standard species C. piger (Fig. 15). In chromosome G between two dark block of bands there are several dark thin bands which can be used as a maker of the species (Fig. 15). Thirteen individuals were studied.
