Agrilus plasoni dichrosomus Obenberger stat. nov. (Figs. 6, 13)

Agrilus dichrosomus Obenberger, 1924: 122 ­123 . Lectotype ♂, NMPC, by present designation: “Kan Kau [= Kang­k'ou­lu, Pingtung (province), Taiwan, 22°00'N, 120°50'E] 21. IV. 1910 [h] Col. T. Shiraki [p] \ Formosa Y. Miwa [p] \ Typus [p] [red label with black border] \ Agrilus Dichrosomus m. [h] Det. Dr. Obenberger [p] \ Mus. Nat. Pragae [p] 26862 [h] Inv. [p] [orange label]” and 1 paralectotype ♀: “ Formosa Koshun [= Heng­ch'un, Pingtung (province), 22°00'N, 120°44'E]”. Number of syntypes unknown.

Remarks. This insular subspecies differs from the nominotypical subspecies by the form of the spine on the outer margin of the elytral apices, which has a short and robust tip. Aedeagus (Fig. 13).
