Androlaelaps cursor Lareschi, 2020: 100500, Figs 6-7, (not available name).
Androlaelaps cursor was described on the basis of the female, male and deutonymph. It may be recognised by the proximal seta on coxa I more than twice as long as the distal seta on coxa I in females, males and deutonymphs; males and females with the distance j5–j5 and half z5–z5 less the distance between j6 setae; and females with st3 less than 1.5 times length of st1. Type material. HOLOTYPE: female (MZUFV 2971-1), ex Akodon cursor (Winge) (MZUFV 2971), Mata do Paraíso Research Station, Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil (20°46´S, 42°51´W) . PARATYPES: male (MZUFV 3950-1) ex Akodon cursor (MZUFV 3950, Mata do Paraíso Research Station, Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil (20°46´S, 42°51´W); 9 females (MZUFV 2971-2; MZUFV 2971-31 /32; MZUFV 3949-31; PMP 472-1 /2; PMP 472-31 /33) and 1 deutonymph (PMP456- 1) ex Akodon cursor, Mata do Paraíso Research Station, Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil (20°46´S, 42°51´W) .
Etymology. The name of this species refers to its occurrence on rodent A. cursor .
Type host. Akodon cursor (Winge) ( Cricetidae: Sigmodontinae) (MZUFV 2971, housed at the Museu de Zoologia, Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil).
