Androlaelaps montensis sp. nov.

Androlaelaps montensis Lareschi, 2020: 100500, Figs. 3–5 (unavailable name).

Androlaelaps montensis was described on the basis of the female and male. It may be recognised by the proximal seta on coxa I almost twice as long as distal seta on coxa I in female and male; both sexes with the distance j5–j5 similar to the distance j6–j6 and to half the distance z5–z5; females with st3 1.5 times longer than st1. Type material. HOLOTYPE: female (CG529-1), ex Akodon montensis (CG529), Parque Provincial Urugua-í, Misiones Province, Argentina (25°51´10.29″S, 54°10´41.53″W) . PARATYPES: male (CG568-1) ex Akodon montensis (CG568), Parque Provincial Urugua-í, Misiones Province, Argentina (25°51´10.29″S, 54°10´41.53″W) ; 9 females ex A. montensis (CG529-2 /10), Parque Provincial Urugua-í, Misiones Province, Argentina (25°51´10.29″S, 54°10´41.53″W) ; 2 males ex A. montensis (CG568-1 /2), Parque Provincial Urugua-í, Misiones Province, Argentina (25°51´10.29″S, 54°10´41.53″W) .

Etymology. The name of this species refers to its occurrence on the rodent A. montensis .

Type host. Akodon montensis Thomas ( Cricetidae: Sigmodontinae) (CG 568, field number).

Type locality. Parque Provincial Urugua-í, Misiones Province, Argentina (25°51´10.29″S, 54°10´41.53″W) .
