Material examined. Greece: holotype male, Greece (Epire), coll. de Metsovon, pâturages avec Rhododendron, 28.4.1973, B. Hauser leg. (NHMG)

Distribution. Greece (Strasser 1976; Lazányi et al. 2012).

Diagnosis. Differs from all consubgeners by the bent, plate-like anterior process of the opisthomere (ap), most visible from lateral view (Fig. 3d).

Opisthomere’s (Figs 3a–b, 3d) posterior process (pp) thin and reaching the height of solenomere. Solenomere’s processes (asp and psp) subequal in length.

Both sexes are reddish-brown with two bright longitudinal dorsal bands. Body length and height: males: 31– 37.6mm, 2–2.5mm; female (Strasser 1976): 34mm, 3mm.

Remarks. Endemic species to Greece. Female vulva unknown.
