Copobaenus tristis Fairmaire et Germain, 1863 (Fig. 2)
The specimens figured by Telnov & Degiovanni (2021: 122 figs 46–54) in fact represent two species, T. tristis (figs 48–49 of the mentioned paper) and a species new to science described herein (figs 46–47 & 50–54 of the same paper). The aedeagus as figured by Telnov & Degiovanni (2021: 122 figs 50–51) does not correspond with that of the lectotype of C. tristis as figured by Abdullah (1969: 337 fig. 16).
