Type locality: Palestine, Jericho, St. George’s Monastery .
Material examined. Hormozgân Province: 1 ♂, Bandar-e Khamir, Mardoo Isl., Mangrove forest (protected area), N 26°58'33", E 55°40'25", 3 m, 30.x.2021, Âlipanâh, Falsafi leg. (gen. prep. HA-2838, HMIM)
Distribution. Israel, probably more widespread in the Near East (Amsel 1935; Slamka 2019), Iran (new record).
Remarks. Forewing length of the single examined specimen (male) 8.4 mm; wingspan 18.6 mm (n = 1). The genitalia and the eighth abdominal segment of the Iranian examined male (Fig. 5C‒F) match those of paratype depicted by Slamka (2019), but slightly differ in the editum that is wider and dilated distally, and the saccus is wider at base (Fig. 5C, D). This species is newly reported for the fauna of Iran.
