Genus Thorax Saussure, 1862

Type species: Phoraspis (Thorax) porcellana Saussure, 1862 . By monotypy.

Note. The genus Thorax was established for the single species Phoraspis (Thorax) porcellana Saussure, 1862 from "Les Indes orientales. Les montagnes des Neelgheries" (Saussure 1863, p. 145). The structure of the male genitalia of this species was briefly described by Roth (1972).
