Remarks. A species belonging to the C. ventricosus group (sensu Schein 1954a). Mudge et al. (2012) provided data on habitat preference and abundance of this species in GHA. See also general comments in Schein (1954a) and the remarks under the genus Coenochilus (Serrano et al. 2020) . All the GBI specimens were sampled by LT (Fig. 2c). It is a new species record for Guinea-Bissau.
