Yunnantettix elytratus (Günther, 1939)
http://lsid.speciesfile.org/urn:lsid: Orthoptera .speciesfile.org:TaxonName:470963
Notes. Based on similarity with Y. bannaensis, Storozhenko & Pushkar (2015) transferred this species from Epitettix to Yunnantettix . With its vertex convex, median carina of vertex protruding forward, vertex together with frontal costa obtusely rounded and protruding forward, face slightly oblique, pronotum little uplifted between shoulders, etc., this species is similar to Y. bannaensis and Y. variabilis sp. nov., but hind process of its pronotum is distinctly obtusely rounded. In dorsal view anterior margin of vertex is obtusely angled, which is similar to the latter but differs from the former. External lateral carina of pronotum is indistinctly folded upwards above tegmen and not extending backwards, that is similar to the former but differs from the latter. Male of this species is unknown (Günther, 1939; Shishodia, 1991).
