Ypsolopha asperella (Linnaeus, 1761)

Phalaena (Tinea) asperella Linnaeus, 1761: 369 [type locality: Uppsala, Sweden]. = clairvillella Fabricius, 1798: 501 ( Ypsolophus).

= falcatella Donovan 1802: 81, pl. 355: 5 ( Phalaena).

New Records: KOREA – [Gangwon] 1Ƥ (larva), Gugokpokpo, Gangchon, Chuncheon, 20 V 2005 (pupation on 28 V 2005; emergence on 9 VI 2005), on the leaves of Prunus sargentii (coll. and reared by JC Sohn), [GSN: SJC-455], JCS. CHINA – [Beijing] 1Ƥ, Neimeng Quanqi, Beijing (?), 15 VII 1978, CUA.

Distribution: Korea (new record: Central), China (new record: Northeast), Russia (Gershenson 1997), Asia Minor, Mideast Asia and Europe.
