4. Perithous septemcinctorius (Thunberg, 1822)
The species is widely distributed in the Western Palaearctic region (Yu et al. 2016) and recorded from the Palaearctic part of China (Uchida 1952; Sheng et al. 2002: 3); introduced from Europe to Michigan, USA (Torgersen 1972).
Samples of P. septemtrionalis from Europe (Belgorod Prov., Russia) have been examined. Females have first tergite granulate and with a pair of strong basolateral teeth, and the third tergite with anteromedian longitudinal keel.
Distribution. Palaearctic species; introduced to North America; unknown from Mexico.
