Material examined. NE Laos: Houa Phan prov., Mt. Phou Pane, 1350–1500 m a.s.l., 1.–16.vi.2009, M. Brancucci lgt., 3 males 8 females; Xieng Khouang prov., 30 km NE Phonsavan, Mt. Phou Sane, 1300–1500 m a.s.l., 10.– 30.v.2009, M. Brancucci lgt., 3 males 2 females (NHMB, NMPC).

Female. Described from the male. Antennae of female shorter than in male, reaching ca elytral midlength, colour of pronotum varying from almost entirely orange with only small, sooty lateral spot before posterior corners to orange with almost complete narrow sooty borders. Claws simple. Last sternite as in Fig. 44.

Colour of pronotum in male also varying, from entirely sooty or black to terracotta with sides and anterior half chestnut brown.

Distribution. Described from northern Thailand, new species for Laos.
