TYPE LOCALITY. Naharkhoran Forest, Gorgan, Golestan Prov., Iran.

DISTRIBUTION. Endemic to Iran.

DISTRIBUTION IN IRAN. Fig. 83. Eastern part of the Hyrcanian forest in the Golestan Prov.

HABITAT. Tree trunks and forest floor.

REMARKS. A member of the D. chlorogaster species complex, a sister species to a clade formed by D. chlorogaster and D. caspica (Ahmadzadeh et al. 2013a).
