Tropiocolotes naybandensis Krause, Ahmadzadeh, Moazeni, Wagner & Wilms, 2013

HOLOTYPE. ZFMK 92344.

TYPE LOCALITY. Nayband, Asalouyeh, Bushehr Prov., Iran.

DISTRIBUTION. Endemic to Iran.

DISTRIBUTION IN IRAN. Fig. 68. Known with certainty only from Bushehr and Fars Prov.

HABITAT. The types were collected under stones in a semi desert habitat vegetated with Calotropis procera, Ficus religiosa, Lycium edgewothii, Prosopis cineraria, P. juliflor, Ziziphus spina-christi, and Zygophyllum atriplicoides . Another specimen from Fars Prov. was collected on a hillside amongst sparse xerophytic vegetation (Gholamifard et al. 2010).

REMARKS. Tropiocolotes naybandensis is a member of the T. steudneri / nattereri species group with the centre of distribution in NW Africa (Egypt, Sudan) and the Levant (Krause et al. 2013).
