(Fig. 20)

Material examined. ANJOUAN: Bambao, 15.i.1974, 1♂, L. Matile lgt., P. Kment det. (MNHN) . GRANDE COMORE: Le Galawa H., 22.iv. & 5.v.1991, 1♂, 2♀, K. M. Guichard lgt., P. Kment det. (BMNH) . MAYOTTE: Pengoualajou, 2.x.2019, 1♀, V. Nicolas lgt. & det. (VNBF) .

Biology. This species has been found on Senna singueana ( Fabaceae) in Mayotte (V. Nicolas, pers. observ.).

Distribution. Comoros: Anjouan, Grande Comore, Mayotte (new records); Madagascar (Cachan 1952); India: Puducherry (Signoret 1851).

Comments. This species was described from Pondichery [= Puducherry] by Signoret (1851), but has never been reported from India (cf. Atkinson 1888, Distant 1902, Salini & Vitaktamath 2015). This suggests that the type specimen(s) were mislabelled. Accordingly, we treat the species here as subendemic to Comoros and Madagascar, and it is not a widespread species.
