Body length: male: 3.70–3.75 mm.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE: 1 ♂, China: Tongren, Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County, Mayang River National Nature Reserve (28°64’N, 108°29’E), 5 June 2007, collectors: Xiangsheng Chen, paratypes: 2♂♂, China: Tongren, Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County, Mayang River National Nature Reserve (28°64’N, 108°29’E), 5 June 2007, collectors: Xiangsheng Chen.
Distribution. China (Guizhou).
Host Plant. Phyllostachys edulis (Carrière) J. Houz.
Note. This species is moved to Mukariella based on the following characteristics: (1) crown with pronounced forward extension; (2) frontoclypeus middle and tip flattened in lateral view; (3) aedeagus single-branched, terminal part with a pair of short forked spinules on each side, one gonopore.
