Notes:—Brade (1957) published Begonia bonitoensis var. intermedia as a new variety with the annotation ined. The use of ined. by the author invalidates the name of the variety. Therefore Begonia bonitoensis var. intermedia is a invalid name (Art. 36.1 of ICN, Turland et al. 2018).
