Notes:— Brade (1944) published Begonia attenuata var. herbacea as a new variety with the annotation inedit. and without description. The use of inedit. by the author invalidates the name of the variety. Therefore B. attenuata var. herbacea is a invalid name (Art. 36.1 of ICN, Turland et al. 2018).
