Differential diagnosis. Body size 14–16 mm. Black bright; habitus moderately elongated (Figs 96–98), remarkable by the narrowness of both neck and anterior part of pronotum; head broad in comparison, vertex long behind the eyes, inflated, obviously distinct from the neck by the presence of a transversal mark; temples rounded and feebly oblique; interocular cavity particularly shallow; the longitudinal grooves are not extended up to the transversal mark; pronotum long; medial lobe inflated in both dorsal and lateral views, but strongly narrowed in front; collum narrow; elytra widened with the lateral constriction clearly marked; gibbosity and concavity strongly marked; sculpture shallow in front, then finely punctate; apex smooth. Protuberances: VB relatively small; BL pair, small and laterally protruding; DB relatively large and evidently biforked at apex; median part of endophallus elongated; V small, weakly delimited; VA relatively large; apical protuberances not studied; flagellum long and thin.
